CleanShield® products are developed in accordance with the Health Canada Medical Devices Regulations (SOR/98-282) under the authority of the Food and Drugs Act, ensuring alignment with Canada’s regulatory framework for safety, effectiveness and quality for medical devices.

Under these regulations, medical devices must meet defined safety, effectiveness and labelling requirements, and follow a risk-based classification system that determines the level of regulatory oversight and licensing requirements. Where applicable, devices are supported by recognized national and international standards to demonstrate compliance.

Our quality and compliance documentation supports Health Canada expectations for regulatory submissions, including establishment licensing (MDEL) and device licensing (MDL) as required by device class.

Our products are manufactured with gluten-free considerations in place to support gluten control requirements in food processing environments.

CleanShield® products are supplied with halal-suitable considerations to support use in halal-controlled food processing environments.

To the best of our knowledge, CleanShield products:
- do not contain any material of animal origin (including oils, fats, or gelatin)
- do not contain ethanol (alcohol)
